Linear guide rail is widely used in industrial production.
The linear guide has the following three basic functions:
(1) Guide the movement of the bearing body.
(2) Provide a smooth moving surface for the bearing body.
(3) Transfer the force generated by train movement or machine tool cutting to the foundation or lathe bed to reduce the impact on passengers and the forced machining of the whole machine.
The motion along the guide rail system is mostly linear motion, and a few are circular motion. Of course, many skills of linear guide can be directly applied to curved guide.
Why is the guide rail called "system"?
This is because the operation of the guide rail system includes the operation of several elements, and the basic elements are a moving element and a fixed element. The fixed parts are usually rail-type, which is the guarantee of the accuracy of the guide rail. If the guide rail is deformed, the moving parts or sliding parts will lose their correct guidance.
Linear guide rail is a high-precision navigation accessory. Pay special attention to the installation, otherwise it will cause unevenness around and reduce the accuracy. If the machine needs to replace the guide rail and be installed by professional staff, amateur staff may not realize the skills of the installation process and what problems will occur when installing the linear guide rail.
Linear sliders can be divided into three types: roller linear guides, cylindrical linear guides and ball linear guides, which are used to support and guide moving parts and make reciprocating linear motion in a given direction. It can be realized by replacing the linear guide rail.
