Linear axis is a kind of linear motion system produced at low cost, which is used for infinite stroke and cylindrical axis. Because the bearing ball is in point contact with the shaft, the service load is small. The steel ball rotates with very little friction resistance, so it can obtain high precision and smooth motion.
Linear axis is widely used in electronic equipment, tension testing machine, digital three-dimensional coordinate measuring equipment and other precision equipment, as well as multi axis machine tools, punches, tool grinders, automatic gas cutting machines, printers, card sorting machines, food packaging machines and other industrial machinery sliding parts.
Linear slide rail and linear axis are basically two product accessories. Linear slide rail is a kind of accessory for transmitting motion, and the reciprocating linear motion from the designated point to the next point is the guide rail. The appearance of the linear axis is obviously different from the outside of the linear slide rail. The barrel like operation of the linear axis depends on the linear optical axis. In terms of equipment: linear slide rail has higher accuracy, greater load and stronger stability than linear axis, and linear axis is only suitable for preliminary machining.
Linear shaft is used for linear bearing and cylindrical shaft. Because the bearing ball contacts with the bearing sleeve point, the steel ball rolls with very small friction resistance, so the linear optical axis has small friction, and is relatively stable, does not change with the bearing speed, and can obtain stable linear motion with high sensitivity and high precision.
Linear shaft consumption also has its limitations, the main one is the poor impact load capacity of linear bearing, and the bearing capacity is also poor; secondly, the linear shaft has large vibration and noise at high speed, which need to be overcome.
