The contact between the guide rail and the guide rail base is surface contact, and the guide rail is positioned by the mutually perpendicular planes on the base. In the alignment, it is much easier to add material (pad sheet material) to the contact surface of the base than to remove material (grinding or scraping). Therefore, this alignment example uses additional material (pad sheet material), but it can only achieve the accuracy of several wires (thickness limit of pad sheet material). To achieve high accuracy, the method of removing material is needed. The datum line in the straightening process is actually a line parallel to the smaller double center line of the datum guide rail and passing through the limit point. Since the smaller double center line of the reference guide rail is taken as the reference line, for the convenience of adjustment, the parallel reference line and the straight line passing through the limit point are selected as the adjustment reference line, and then the offset of each measuring point relative to the adjustment reference line is calculated and adjusted according to its offset In this straightening example, the limit point of the vertical plane is a larger value; The limit point of the horizontal plane is the larger value of the upper guide rail or the smaller value of the lower guide rail (removing material (grinding or scraping) defines that the limit point is the exchange of the larger value and the smaller value). When taking the straight line parallel to the lesser two times the center line and passing through the limit point as the benchmark, only thin sheet material is needed to adjust the guide rail.
Alignment of linear guide rail
1. Determine the reference guide rail (determined by the technologist or manufacturer) and straighten it to make its straightness error within the specified range;
2. Use the above method to straighten the second guide rail, and take the straightened reference guide rail as the reference straight line, so that the smaller double center line of the second guide rail and the smaller double center line of the reference guide rail reach the specified parallelism error.
